| This first image on the left is an "Irix la Sibyl"
miniature with clearly visible mold lines. It's hard to tell but the flash
lines on the left side of the face are so bad that there is no visible mouth.
The second image is the "resculpted" miniature with a distinct
mouth scratched into the face with a razor blade. It's not perfect but better
than leaving it. It can be smoothed more with some very fine sand paper.
Don't prime your miniatures like those in the images before doing this! It's a good idea to trim Confrontation miniatures over newspaper and to wash them and your hands and tools afterwards. Rackham's miniatures do contain lead. |

| This excellent miniature was painted with a technique called "non metallic metal", nmm, and the particular technique illustrated here is called earth and sky, it is similar to illustrations intended to display metal reflecting the horizon. |
