    BUTTERFIELD BURN is a PC game made with the GAME MAKER program. Click here to see MORE. Explore the dark underworld of Butterfield to uncover the sinister deeds of it's most prominent citizens. Along the way you can make new friends, date the beautiful women of Butterfield, and fight off coppers and weirdoes. Collect items, weapons, and skills, find secret areas, or just chill.
    10/25/03 - The game file has been updated with a few fixes and runs faster as well.

  THIS SITE
     The game ".zip" file contains the players guide, but you may take a look at it by pressing GUIDE. There were some parody images made for the game seen on this site. You can find full size pictures in the DOWNLOAD (DNLD) section. Here you will also find a remix of the games drum loop in a .zip fine. The MORE icon sends you to a section with the making of the game and some links.

COMPATIBILITY
    The game will run on win98 to winxp systems. The game may run slow if you have less than 8mb of video memory or less than 1ghz. Only run the game in "millions of colors" mode.

TROUBLESHOOTING
    If you are having a problem in the game like a bug or error you can tell the author, but first consult the Player's Guide. If the game is giving error messages you may also want to look at some Game Maker documentation. If the application simply won't run it is probably corrupted in some way. There will be more tips if people point out some problems.
